报告人Paolo Beccarelli教授简介
Prof. Paolo Beccarelli graduated from Polytechnic University of Milan and is currently Vice President of the TensiNet Society of the European Union, Selection Expert of the IASS Hangai Prize of the International Association for Shell and Spatial Structures (IASS), and Professor at the School of Architecture and Built Environment of the University of Nottingham (UK), where he has long been working on the fundamental theories and engineering design of lightweight flexible building structures at the intersection of multiple disciplines. He has long been devoted to the basic theoretical research and engineering design of multidisciplinary lightweight flexible building structures. He has presided over and participated in a number of EU Horizon projects, and has been a member of the academic committees of IASS, Structural Membranes, and other international conferences for a long time, and the projects he was responsible for and participated in the design of have won the IFAI Distinguished Contribution Award (2021), the Dubai Expo Innovative Design Award (2020), and CHAIR'S AWARD (2015). 2015).
