On the morning of March 18th, Jiang Bin, General Manager of the Human Resources Department of China Construction Second Engineering Bureau, and his delegation visited the School of Civil Engineering for a discussion meeting.  Dean Wang Yuyin, Vice Dean Wu Yue, Director of the School's Alumni Affairs Office and Secretary-General of the Alumni Association Xu Pengju, and all the counselors attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Li Zhe, Deputy Secretary of the School's Party Committee.

Dean Wang Yuyin pointed out in his speech that the School of Civil Engineering has always attached great importance to cooperation with China Construction Second Engineering Bureau, and hoped that both sides could create a new situation of mutual benefit and win-win results, achieving more progress in talent cultivation and scientific research through deepening school-enterprise cooperation. Jiang Bin introduced the business overview, research directions, talent training mechanisms, and the development of alumni within the company.  Both sides had in-depth discussions and exchanges on innovative cooperation models, cooperation platform construction, and alumni work, and reached a consensus on carrying out multi-field cooperation.

At the meeting, Wu Yue introduced the development of the School of Civil Engineering from the perspectives of its historical evolution, disciplinary overview, faculty team, talent cultivation, and scientific research. He also expressed his hope that both sides would further expand exchanges and cooperation in areas such as joint talent training and joint platform construction.

Before the meeting, Jiang Bin and his delegation visited the combined wind tunnel and wave tank laboratory.

Representatives from China Construction Second Engineering Bureau's Third Company, Fourth Company, East China Company, North China Company, Installation Company, Investment Company, and Northern Company participated in the symposium.
